Thank you for taking time to read this letter. As the problem of food safety has been becoming worse and worse nowadays, I am obliged to write to you. Several days ago, one of my classmates came back from supermarket with a large bag of food. Because of having found a new style of tinned? In the food store, she was very glad. Several other roommates were invited to enjoy the “mouthwatering chicken”. Unfortunately, after finishing the food, all of my three friends had stomachaches and vomited, their faces having become paler and paler. Due to sensitivity to that kind of tinned food, I escaped that suffer. At that time, my mind went blank. 摘要：学习一门语言，目的是为了更好的进行交流与写作。能写出一篇好的英语作文也是新目标英语教学大纲对学生的一个基本要求。如何让学生熟练地掌握并运用英语这门语言进行恰当地写作，也一直是个困扰着众多英语教学工作者的话题。 关键词：留守儿童，英语写作，能力培养

笔者所任教的学校是一所农村初中学生集中办学的全寄宿制学校。学生均来自农村，故而留守儿童也集中于此。他们在农村接受了小学教育，英语也是从那儿启蒙。经过一段时间的英语教学发现，学生的英语综合能力有待大幅度提高。此外，从我校去年全市中考统考英语成绩来看，作文这块有较大问题，主要存在以下不足：学生掌握的词汇量少；思路不够清晰，组织能力差；基本功不扎实，搭配错误多；单词拼写错误多，病句多；文章层次分明不够，书写差；另外学生审题不清，部分学生只达到了一小部分作文要求。现在，笔者针对我校留守儿童作文方面的表现，结合平时的教学经验，就如何使我校留守儿童提高英语作文能力提出几点有效方法：

一． 注意平时积累，沉淀佳句美文，打下语言基础。 杜甫有云：“读书破万卷，下笔如有神。”世界上任何一门语言的学习与运用，应该都是从模仿开始的。从我们小时候的呀呀学语，母亲就如复读机一般不厌其烦地在我们的耳旁教导着，从而使我们熟练地学会了说话。那么要蕴酿一篇文章，也肯定是离不开平时不断地学{中考留守儿童英语作文}.

习与积累。英语文章的写作也是如此。

首先：学生在平时的学习中要熟练掌握各种词汇。单词的记忆对于我校留守儿童来讲是一个难题。那么作为教师如何突破这一点呢。笔者运用一些眼下比较流行的方法来促使学生记忆单词。如利用“Mind-map”法物品归类记忆单词，“Hot-seat”法猜测型地记忆单词，“Charades pictionary”法画图提示来记忆单词，“Vocabulary diaries”法首字母归类记忆单词等。通过教师开展这一系列的活动，既调动了学生的积极参与性，又有效地记忆了一长串的单词，正所谓是“寓教于乐”，相得益彰。

其次，在良好的掌握单词的基础上，对学生作进一步的要求，要求学生背诵优美的佳句范文也是非常重要的一个环节。20世纪最伟大的人物之一列宁说过：“聪明在于学习，天才在于积累”。而积累的有效途径之一就是背诵。当代作家梁衡说：“背书是写作的基本功”。所以，背诵英语课本中的佳句范文是需要学生坚持不懈的一项活动。当然，佳句的获得不能光局限于英语教本，在平时品一些英语文章时也督促学生记笔记，并强化训练。对于平时背诵英语范文，笔者也进行了一番督促，如开展背课文比赛，当然这些课文也是老师经过一番刷选的。比如，新目标GO FOR IT中每个单元的“Grammar Focus”以及3a都是值得重视也是学生必背教师必抽检的内容之一。笔者平常用表格式的管理方式，谁背得多谁背得少，一目了然，使学生形成有效地竞争机制，并进行阶段性的评比，奖励一些学习用品，提高学生的背诵成果。
