Good morning,Ladies and Gentleman,

As the Lybia crisis has been the international focus for months and it seems to be worsening and increasingly unpredicatable in the future,I’d like to give my point of view on the motive of this war and though it may be a little surprising to you all But in fact,,I do not hold the opinion that the military actions by the multiplied nations should be the demand for the nation’s oil and my accounts are as follows:

My first main point is that it is not economic to wage war for the exchange of oil.

Firstly,the high expenses of the Iraq war should be alerting.Apart from some very obvious expenses of the military actions on Iraq by the U.S,there are still several inevident expenses such as the toll of soldiers,the bad affect upon the domestic economy etc.If all these factors should be taken into consideration,the Bush government had paid more than three hundred billion dollars for the war and the war on Lybia could be no less costly than the previous one.

And the value of the oil is unable to pay off the cost of the military fares.Accoding to an estimation,the benefit gained by selling oil will take more than 7 years to pay off the military expenses ,on the

account that the current price for oil may not alter in the future. Also, it is not economic to ask for oil in Lybia nowadays.The productivity of oil manufacture of Lybia is unable to catch up with Iraq back in 2003 and there has been no evidence up till now that the war in Lybia will cost the multiplied forces less compared with what it did to the US in Iraq.

Now let’s come to my second main standpoint. There is no reason to have a war with Lybia simply for its oil

Firstly, the control over the defeated country will be very tough.Let me take Iraq for an instance.After the Iraq war,America didn’t seize the possession of the oil field.For if the US really took them away form Iraq rudely ,it would really have been a deed of robber and justice would not stand alongside with the US and the rebellion and protest of the Iraqi people against the Americans would bring enormous damage to the US and this “benefit ” is what America is most unlikely to obtain.

Secondly, Control over the the right to dig up oil in a defeated country is pessimistic.If the road should be opened up for the captalists inside America on the expense of blood, lives and of course,the seemingly endless payment for military fees,the payment should be too much and totally inaccessible and unaccepted by the American government.For it will be against the simple

formula:Investment should be greater than benefit and interests and no one will be silly enough to take the risk to break it.

Thirdly, Control over the amount of exporting oil of a defeated country is hard to maintain either.Neither Iraq nor Lybia,that the productivity of oil is strong enough to generate the dependence of the oil-consuming countrie,most of which are the western countries and the absence of oil importing form either of the two countries could become a fatal challenge to them.

In conclusion,the war of Lybia can not be solely for the demad of its oil,more political and diplomatic benefits are involved in it and every major nation of the multiplied forces should have their own reasons to interfere the crisis of Lybia.

Stop the Rumor With Wisdom

Dear classmates, I believe most of us have heared about at least 3 internet rumors. Such as: the world would end in 2012, the iodine in salt can protect people from nuclear radiation. In fact, we may have seen more rumors than we thought, that is because on the one hand, with the help of internet, rumors are increasing sincemaking and spreading them is getting more and more convenient. On the other hand, some of them were disguised withauthority or science or even friendly reminder, which make it more difficult to see through.

In this situation, we must do something to stop internet rumor. Because it mislead people, fright peopleand damage the peaceof society, As apart of morden times internet communication, I highly recommend us to do 3 things to prevent internet rumor.

Firstly, we should never be the source of rumors. I know most of us won’t make rumors on purpose, but we can’t ensure what we said won’t be used by other individuals intentionally, or our original meaningswon’t be misinterpreted.Although the internet is open and free, that doesn’t mean we can say whatever we want without a second thought.

Secondly, we shouldn’t help the spread of internet rumors. Because the wilder the rumor spreaded, the more damage it will cause. We all know thatthree people spreading reports of a tiger make you believe there is one around. Thanks to the internet, now we can spread the rumor with only one share button. Even though we didn’t take the rumor for real when we push the button, it is possible for others to believe these rumors because they trust us. In the worst situation, our reputation may be destoried by this reckless behavior.

Last but not least, we should try our best to terminate the rumor. And that depends on our wisdom.In most cases, the rumors always pretend to be the truth, (有图有真相)for that most of us would rather believe than not. But in fact, that doesn’t benefit anyone. A rock concert is a musical performance in the style of any one of many genres inspired by "rock and roll" music. While a variety of vocal and instrumental styles can constitute a rock concert, this phenomenon is typically characterized by bands playing at least one electric guitar, an electric bass guitar, and drums. Often, two guitar players share the tasks of rhythm and lead guitar playing. Basic ones are guitar, bass, vocals and drums, plus keyboard and whatever the band wants.

I love one south korea rock band.It’s name is cnbue. I have been to the rock band's world tour concert in 2013.CNBLUE is 4 member Korean pop band. The group consists of Jung Yong-Hwa (lead vocals, guitar), Lee Jong-Hyun (vocal, guitar), Kang Min-Hyuk (drums) and Lee Jung-Shin (bass guitar). In concert, the band have sang their fame song--victory. When the show reached its climax, the band members were full of sweat, the audience screamed constantly. End of the show for a long time, I still very excited. Perhaps it is the magic of rock music.

5. Describe what your hometown is like as if to someone who has never been there. Good morning,teachers.I choose the fifth topic to give my speech.My speech is about my hometown.

My hometown is MaoShan, a small town in Jurong city of Jiangsu Province .It is located in the southeast of the city, 25 kilometers away from the urban area.It covers an area of 32 square kilometers, with a population of Fourteen thousands.

Maoshan is a national AAAAA grade scenic spot.Maoshan is a famous Taoist which is the birthplace of Taoism. It is also one of the six major mountain area against Japan In World War II.Maoshan has fresh and beautiful natural scenery.since ancient times, there are 9 peaks, 19 springs, 26 holes and 28 pools. The mountain here is not high but fair, the water here is not deep but clarify.In addition, Maoshan is rich in Chinese herbal medicine.

The local specialty is Maoshan goose.it is a kind of pickled food with a salty flavor.Rice is the perfect partner for it.

My hometown almost has no industry. Local residents rely on tourism service industry to make a living. So in my hometown, there are a lot of restaurants and hotels.

6.If you could change anything about the courses at the university, what would it be? Would you have different courses in your major taught? What would they be on? I think the university curriculum does not make me satisfied. If I have the ability to change some courses, I will first increase the practicum and software operation courses, and then cut a number of theoretical courses which is too difficult. The reason is that the major of students will choose to work into the company after graduation , and the company think the software operating capacity and internship experience are more valued. On the contrary, the company think that the theoretical basis is not too important. Currently, university curriculum system and recruitment market does not match, leading to many graduates lack basic skills recruits,and can not find a job. My majir is more interested in theoretical research. For example, I have the following courses in this semester : Econometrics, mathematical statistics and so on. These courses can only help me to complete papers, but can not teach me how to find a job.

7.Explain what merchandise you like to purchase from Taobao. Then, tell me the most memorable merchandise you have purchased, and why it is so?

I prefer to buy kits and Small electrical appliances on Taobao. I would avoid buying clothes and shoes as well as high-priced goods on Taobao.The reasons are as following: First, the packages and small appliances from Taobao is very cheap; secondly, clothes and shoes are required to try in order to see results.If we relies solely on the site picture ,the results would be unreasonable . many buyers would found the merchandise were not the desired one after receiving the goods; finally, after all, for a network transactions, security is the first issue to be considered.so if you want buy expensive merchandise ,this behavior must be prudent. the most memorable merchandise i have purchased is a blue dress. Because of my stature is short, this dress make me have disharmonious proportions. Also, because of my yellow skin, navy blue made me become very dark. In the end, I put this dress back to the seller.

8.Talk about another course of yours and what you like about it. Talk about some things you learn.

Mathematical Statistics is the study of the effective use of data collection and data processing, a variety of models and technical analysis, social surveys and statistical analysis in order to infer or predict problems, and thus provide the basis for decisions and actions and proposed application of broad-based discipline.In order to solve a practical problem, generally the following steps have to be done: a mathematical model, collected data, statistical inference, forecasting and decision making. I like its practicality. Mathematical statistics can help us to quantify the actual problem. Since conclusions can be quantified.In this course, I learned about the type of data distribution, hypothesis testing, parameter estimation and so on. This course is the foundation for me to study harder theory in the future.

9.What would you change about the quality of life in your hometown, and how would it relate to education in China? If it includes sanitation, what kind of professional is needed?

I was born in a small town called maoshan, located in the East of China. The most important thing I want to change about my hometown is developing the economic of my town. People struggling in the big cities should come back and contribute to the construction of the hometown. We can plant the crops by the scientific guiding. After solving the problem of farming, we should build more entertainment facilities, cinema, shop, restaurants, for example, which would make our town much more like mordent cities. Improving the quality of life is very important to make the young people staying at hometown and absorb much more young intelligent people coming to my town.

Only through the development of education to cultivate high-quality personnel, so as to revitalize the home economy.Also, if people pay attention to the development of education, people's quality will be improved, the home will become more livable.

If it includes sanitation, the following professional is necessary: food hygiene and quarantine, medical care, sanitation and detection.

10.What is a major? With your major, what kind of business could you start in your hometown? When describing the business, talk about the kind of products or services you could provide.

A major is a concentration of courses that give a student a basic knowledge of a field of study. A major prepares you to go on for graduate work in the same field or for particular types of professions.

Considering I majored in statistics, I think I will after graduation to start a consulting firm.My professional content is data collection and analysis,the consulting company is quite match with my learning content .

Introduction：It was one of those cold winter night in the Yunnan province,the kind where the

rain hurts,and your breath forms huge cotton balls that bounce on the pavement.

Many of you maybe just sleep on the warm bed.however , my friend and I shook

in the wind

Transition :things would happen just due to our impromptu idea of starting a trip to

Yunnanprovince. But when we really be there, we started to regret what

happened later

Body: my friend and Istood at the exit of airport with a big case. It was almost ten o’clock

but no taxi nearby. So we decided to go to the main street to see if there is any

chance that we could find a taxi to hotel. After several minutes passed, there was

still no taxi among. But astonishing thing happened, one motorcycle drove from

our back to our front. Just at that several seconds,he snatched my bag away. The

power of pulling was so strong that Icouldn’t hold my bag. And all my ID

card,creditcard ,cash and so on were just in that bag .

Transition: Because this is firstI come across with such thing ,I have no choice but call the

police

Body: half hour later , it was almost twelve o’clock . the police came with his luminous car,

he looked us up and down, then asked we two get into his car. And about half an

hour, we arrived the police station. While one of the polices took the record of our

experience,other police just came around us who seems to be attracted by what

we said. Because the police asked many question we just didn’t intend to

remember as well as the most important clues—the motorcycle number. At that

moment I was so shamed, and my face was blushing when I answer questions ,I

wish I could dig a hole for myself on the ground .

Conclusion: I hope everyone remember one thing that never starting a trip without any

preparation, never mention that you are not an experienced person as you think.
