Challenge or Not

Recently, the Ice Bucket Challenge has gone viral all over the world, particularly in the United States, with people posting videos of themselves online and on TV participating in the event. Despite the increase of the donation to fight ALS and more public concern, some are worried about the problems found with this kind of activities. What I have seen is that they have been inserted a sense of entertainment. Personally, I propose that charitable activities, if inserted with too much entertaining elements, will probably depart from their original intentions.

This charitable blockbuster, luring hundreds of celebrities, politicians and athletes, has sparked millions of donations to ALS research and raised awareness of the disease. However, there are worries and different voices towards it. Environmentalists are concerned about the waste of water on the national level, while doctors warn people of the risks of being poured by icy water from the perspective of health.

On the one hand, we have observed that the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has rubbed some people the wrong way, especially as participants get caught up in the act of making videos rather than focusing on the essence of the charity itself. It is said that when Barack Hussein Obama took the challenge, the current American president chose to make a donation of 100 dollars rather than pouring the icy water over his head. On the other hand, the original purpose of this activity is to provide aid and support for patients suffering from the disease. Accordingly, what we should focus on is whether the ALS association begins immediate funding for families in desperate need of home health care services and other care-related services.

As a matter of fact, after a month in the spotlight, the much-hyped ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is finally starting to show signs of cooling down. Most things in moderation are healthy and lasting, and charitable activities are no different. We should always bear the core of charity in mind: being a dutiful citizen.

My Views on the Sharing Economy

The sharing economy has been a new trend in economic activities. Many people benefit a lot through it while different people hold different opinions toward the new topic. On my personal note, with the development of the modern society and economy, the sharing economy plays an important part nowadays. My reasons are as follows.

First of all,it helps people make good use of resources. As we all know, the owners can share their available bargains with people who need for free or rent their unused

things to one another. It can make sure that many things can be used for as many times as possible instead of being abandoned in the corner.

Secondly,as the old saying goes:"The rose's in her hand, the flavor in mine."The sharing economy is just like the rose,it is the bridge between owners and recipients and offers a brand new way to help others and the owners will receive happiness at the same time. When one release the note that he need a place to stay for some time, the one who can offer him will contact him and they both can get what they want.

Last but not least, people can make more friends through this.By chatting or negotiating online, two strangers can become familiar with each other and make meaningful connections. For example,if you plan to travel and you find the man who are willing to offer you a place to stay, you will share your journey with him or

her, then you may find you two have similar outlooks on life or other similarities. You may even keep in touch with each other for a long time after the bargain.

In summary,as the Times magazine comments, the sharing economy is becoming one of 10 ideas that change the world. It brings much convenience in our daily life. From my point of view,we can take an active part in the sharing economy and take full advantage of it.

My Views on the Sharing Economy

The sharing economy refers to the economic pattern in which people share access to resources, such as goods, services and data. This newly emerging trend would be impossible without the development of technology. It is the Internet that makes the sharing cheaper and easier and helps to strike a balance between supply and demand. Time magazine has listed the sharing economy as one of the “10 ideas that will change the world”. As far as the comment is concerned, I cannot agree with Time more.

As one of the greatest benefits of the digital age, the sharing economy arises from our oldest instinct as human beings. There is always an urge for us to connect with others, especially in an era when families are scattered and we do not really know the people who live nearby. It has been said that “Joys shared with others are more enjoyed.” However, in my eyes, the resources shared with others are more beneficial to our society.

On the one hand, sharing economy leads to a more efficient use of resources. Some items are expensive to buy but widely owned by people who do not make the best use of them. Occasional sharing may provide extra income for the owners and can be less costly for the borrowers. If managed well, a win-win situation is achieved for both parties in the process. Besides, sharing economy contributes to environmental protection. Take accommodation for example. The more hotels are built, the more resources are required, which might in turn result in a decrease in arable land and public green space. On the other hand, the transaction cost is reduced due to the use of Internet and various apps. With a smart phone in your hand, it is not difficult to find a potential host in the neighboring area. People are meeting increasingly on screens, discussing online and purchasing goods domestic and overseas, paying through Internet payment system.

To summarize, although the sharing economy is not perfect at present because of concerns in

insurance, legal liability, safety and the like, I believe, quite firmly, that it represents the future trend and has the power to change the world for the convenience and flexibility it brings to us. Just as the old Chinese saying goes, the defects cannot obscure the virtues of a splendid jade, and I assume it also applies to the sharing economy.

2014 My Views on Working from Home

Nowadays, more and more companies have work-from-home or remote working polices, which means that their employees do not have to commute to work every day. As a result, some people think that this can save employees' time, in which employees are allowed to arrange their life freely, thus raising their productivity. However, others argue that only in the work places can employees communicate face to face, which vastly increase the efficiency of coordination and cooperation. So whether employees should work on their home or work on the companies, which caused a heated disscussion in society. However, in my opinion, it is better for employees work on their companies than in their homes.

We can't deny the fact that employees can't concentrate much of their attention on the works if they work in home. Because there are so many tempts arounding them, for example, their

computers, televisions, recreational facilities, and so on. Once they are working in the homes, it is likely that the company's disciplines will be ignored. However, working in the company, the employees will put all their enegetic into their works. Because compared with their home, company is a formal occasion, to which employees dare not despised.

As long as we can see, working in home, the employees are nearly isolated from the society, which is not beneficial to their works. A person, who cut off the link with the outworld, will be fall behind, and being abandoned by the world. However, working in company, the employees will get another result, whih will be satisfactorily. As the old saying goes, " The crowd pick up firewood making high fire. " It is no doubt that working in the company, the employees can

communicate face to face , in which they can get better solidarity and collaboration and get twice the result with half the effort.

Above what we have discussed, it is easy for uc come into a conclusion that working in company can gain more benifits than working in home. As a result, we should not promote employees work from home. as a employee, they should work in company consciously.

Is a sound social environment necessary for people to be good to others?

For thousands of years in China, helping others has been a virtue in traditional Chinese culture. But nowadays, the virtue seems no longer exist, for many people dare not offer help to those in need, for fear of getting into trouble. This issue has been a hot topic in the news, and the public is in a high fever to discuss this moral problem. Some people think that helping others is a virtue in China, we should proud of it and carry forward this culture, or it will lead to a moray degeneration. While the rest of them think helping others many get lots of unnecessary troubles which is wasting their time and money, in some situation, they may go into jail. In my point of view, people should be good to others.

There is no doubt that some tragic event was a trap by some bad people for blackmail money. The most common case is that an old lady or man was lying on the ground and claiming someone was knocked them down, then their children will ask the warm-hearted “evil man” for a pretty penny. I heard a case that a young man helps an old lady who was hit by a car, but the old lady insisted that the young man was the one who hit her. The innocent man has not proved that he is not the criminal so he lost the lawsuit, he has no choice but accept the verdict. Then the poor guy commits a suicide because he has no money for compensation. This famous case has aroused public debate over the climate of morality and credibility, and many people sigh over the moral degeneration. This case like an alarm to that kind, warm-hearted and helpful people, they wanted to give a hand but fare of getting into trouble.

As the saying goes: one good turn deserves another. Helping other is a positive energy which deserved to be carrying forward. Since every one of us is a component of the society, it is each individual’s conducts that form social morality. I believe positive emotions can be infected, once people see the others are offering help, they might get a big chance of willing to help others. Just put yourself in other’s position, if it is you who need help, what would you feel if everyone watches indifferently or suspiciously, some even just standing and taking pictures then upload? Be good to others, no only one day you might need help, but also helping others will make you feel happy and feel better about life.

In sum, I contend the idea that social environment is necessary for people to be good to others, and people should take the responsibility to offer help to those in need, then we build up a more harmonious society.

Mobile Devices Are Not Just for Short Message Service

{专八作文范文}.

An American professor, Naomi Baron, conducted a survey of 2000 college

students’ attitude towards phone calls and text-messaging on mobile devices. And it is concluded by Professor Baron that what students like most is that they can reach other people. However, as far as I know, mobile devices are not just for short message service.

College students are more open-minded and outgoing than students before. They enjoy using their mobile devices to put their happiness, sadness or worries online and talk about it with friends. They can receive congratulations, comforts, or advices. This makes life healthy and enjoyable and it also shows that college students don’t mind people reaching them, instead, they like the feeling of being concerned about. In

addition, students also like citing links of websites of study in their blogs. In this way, students can share information in a larger circle more than a school.

Another advantage of mobile devices is that they can help us shoot the

meaningful, important, or interesting moments, and the freeze frames of those

moments are not just memories but also a treasure for life. Sometimes, when students encounter some crime scenes, their phones can take pictures and even record the sound, which can be very helpful evidences. What’s more, students who like writing can use their phone to “write down” the momentary inspiration anytime, anywhere. Those sudden thoughts and ideals may disappear soon and can be very evanescent if people just let it come and go.

Besides, with the development of smart phone, many kinds of apps can be downloaded and installed in the phone. Students can use their favorite study apps to study wherever and whenever they want to. They can also use some apps to enjoy light music if they feel tired. They don’t have to carry piles of heavy paper books which is harmful to the environment or carry the cumbersome computers. To a certain extent, one mobile device is just like a mobile pocket library. And it’s really

convenient to search information and read news on the phone and it makes students feel they have the whole world in their hand.

To sum up, mobile devices actually shorten the distance between people and people, and between one individual and the world. They are the magic windows open to the outside world for everyone and encourage us to see learn more and learn more and they do make our life easier and happier.

专八满分作文范例

Ambition is the decision one makes and the provides us the required driving force accomplish any undertakings in our life. Just as Joseph Epstein, a famous American writer put it, “And as we decide and choose, so are our lives formed.” Indeed, once we make up our minds to choose to do something, then our life becomes meaningful and specifically orientated. This notion of life, as far as I observe, is closest to truth and does apply to almost all aspects of life.

First things first, ambition renders us a sense of to be responsible for your choice. Your choice procures you a sense of orientation, or more specially a sense of mission. And only a strong mission may enable one to accomplish greatness. Caesar of the ancient Roman Empire was urged by his ambition “I came, I saw, I conquered.” And became an unrivaled empire builder in the history of Rome. John Milton, always by his ambition aimed at writing some “mighty lines” England would

unwillingly forget, had in due time secured his position as the second Shakespeare in the history of English literature.

In the second place, ambition can bring one’s potentials to the full. Ambition may well serve as a catalyst activating one’s dormant potentials. Without ambition one’s potentials will remain slumbering like a dormant volcano. A case in point is Ms Zhang Haidi, a Chinese Helen Keller. her ambition to be a useful person /has turned the almost paralyzed Zhang Haidi into a well-accomplished figure /whose achievements /would dwarf those of some normal people /aim at the sun, though, at worst, they may probably land on the moon.

Influential as it is upon us, however, ambition must be channeled in the right direction. If wrongly directed, one’s ambition may bring havoc on him and others. Hitler, whose ambition was to conquer Europe by whatever evil means, finally turned him into a demon. this demon almost cast Europe into an unfathomable abyss of anguish and suffering. Another case is Macbeth whose ambition was to

become the king of Scotland. However, his ambition was materialized by the murder of King Duncan. guilt and psychological agony drove him to his tragic doom.

ambition can benefit us tremendously if wisely and correctly channeled, otherwise it may ruin others and ourselves. A poet says: life can be bad; life can be good; life can be dirty; life can be sad; life can even be painful. In my mind’s eye, a person can make his life beautiful, meaningful and rewarding and stand out as a respectable personage he is motivated by a well-orientated ambition.

The important role of a city’s local conditions in the urban design

Recently there is a hot debate on a report that a foreign design company invited by a little-known mountainous area in Guiyang provided a design without paying too much attention to the city‘s unique characteristics. Some people appreciate the bold innovation of the design but others do not like it. In my opinion, any urban design should take the city‘s original cultural heritage into account. The designers should suit their design to local conditions and try to take advantage of the local resources.<题目改写>

First, a city‘s regional characteristics or local cultural heritage are its symbol, its

identity. In a mountainous area, too many unconventional, super-futuristic buildings will not be compatible with the city‘s landscapes. Without these landscapes, it is just another so called modern city composed of concrete and steel. Take Beijing for example. In the past few years, Beijing has been removing a large number of such alleys traditionally called hutong, in order to make it become a real international city. But without these hutongs can this city still be called Beijing, an ancient capital? The disappearance of hutongs means the disappearance of a period of history, a cordial lifestyle, and even the disappearance of Beijing itself. Then Beijing will lose its uniqueness.<总分;举例>

Second, it can help a city save a lot of money by suiting the design to local conditions and try to take advantage of the local resources. This is especially

important to small cities, like this one in a mountainous area near Guiyang. We all know Guiyang is a developing city, not very rich. Unconventional, super-futuristic buildings mean large need of money input. Then more burdens may be added to this city, which will run counter to the city‘s original purpose of developing itself. Instead, if connections between a city‘s culture and the various urban sectors, including housing, infrastructure and governance, are well made, the maximum economic benefits will be achieved.<总分;分析题目现状>

Besides, the modernization should be a gradual process. More haste, less speed. Nonetheless, it should not be overlooked that the shortcomings of futuristic-style constructing outweigh its advantages brought.

In conclusion, any urban design should take the city‘s original cultural heritage into account. The designers should suit their design to local conditions and try to take advantage of the local resources. A scientific city design should be dependent on the city‘s regional characteristics, on a case-by-case basis.

Maybe We Have a Better Idea

Few things can add as much colors to the regional features of a city as the look of its CBD. Hence, we know Manhattan of Big Apple, Pudong of Shanghai. Indeed, they are the most typical sights projecting a skyline of a modern city. However, should a CBD in the world look all like? Who told us it should solely be made up of unconventional, super-futuristic buildings? And should they stand out from their surroundings? Answers to these questions are universally and unequivocally No.

A CBD is not a detached but integral part of a city. To prevent it from being too extreme or monstrous, it supposedly goes with the general style of the rest parts of the city. In the past, we Chinese have learnt so many hard and painful lessons. We could have had a Beijing with more Chinese traditional characteristics, more valuable cultural heritage preserved and above all more integral and harmonious Tian An-men Square to present to the world. If our grand fathers had been more willing to

Providing Physical Exercises Should Not Be The Schools Responsibility?

While physical exercise is important, I do not believe that it is the school‟s responsibility to provide physical training for its students.

That is something that everyone can take care of on his or her own.

Many students get plenty of physical exercise as part of their daily life or recreation. A student who bicycles ten miles to and from school does not need more exercise. A good physical education program must take a student‟s outside activity into consideration. Otherwise, some students will spend valuable class hours repeating physical exercise.

If a school offers such activities, it also suggests that students will be graded on them. The range of possible physical activities is great: football, swimming, weight lifting, ballet, ballroom dance, yoga, skiing, horseback riding, and golf are just a few. However, the number of activities that a school could offer is small. Some students could get bad grades in physical education simply because the school could not provide an activity they enjoy or do well. This seems unfair. Research suggests that participation, not excellence, in these activities determines the physical benefits the body will get.

Another issue is economic. Many schools do not have the money to provide gry facilities, playing fields, and athletic equipment for their student. Other schools are located in cities where the kind of space just is not available. A few schools would rather keep money for academic purposes.

Schools can certainly encourage physical activity. They can provide space for activities, events, and classes for physical activities. They can encourage students to plan time away from academic studies to get some exercise. However, I think that providing exercise should not be the schools responsibility.

Living In University Dormitories or Apartments in the Community?

I think it is better for college students to live on campus during their first two years, and then move into an apartment for off-campus life, while juniors and seniors need the independence of off-campus life. Student‟s needs change over four years, so their housing should too.

Living on-campus makes it easier to get oriented to the way things are done. You get the whole university experience. Plus, you interact more with other students. This includes not only your roommates, but everyone in your dormitory. The older students in the dormitory can be a big help for the new students. Keeping up with studies in your first year is hard enough. You should not have to worry about finding your way around and figuring out the university bureaucracy.

Living in the dormitory also makes a student feel more a part of the university community. There are more opportunities for becoming involved in university activities and networking with students and university administration.

Living off-campus, however, is a definite advantage for older students. Finding an apartment, dealing with leases and the landlord‟s regulations, cooking meals, and figuring out budgets are all good practice for life after graduation. This kind of independence helps older students grow in adulthood.

Off-campus housing also gives students a better perspective on what is going on around them. Campus can be like little worlds of their own. There are few children or older people and everyone is focused on education.

Getting to know neighbors who are not students is good for students coming from difference places. It is a chance to find out what other people think and feel.

I think a combination of two years on-campus and two years off-campus is a winning combination for most students. Children should begin their formal schooling at an early age

Children Should Begin Their Formal Schooling at an Early Age

People have different views on what children should do at a very early age. Some think that children should begin their formal education and start to spend most of their time on studies. Others believe that it is still time for young children to play. Both views are based on respective ground.

Those who argue for the playing time for children suggest that children at a very early age are still too young to focus their attention on learning. Their brain may not be ready for serious studies such as comprehension and memorizing learning materials. These people are partially right, for it is true that young children can hardly concentrate. Their attention on one thing lasts for no longer than 15 minutes or so. But we can arrange classes for shorter periods, can‟t we? And we can shift teaching subjects. Through putting them to study, young children are occupied with learning but not with playing.

Those who argue for children‟s early commencement for formal education believe that being put to studies, children can develop good habit of studying, for the process of learning helps develop children‟s mental abilities like the ability to memorize, the ability to understand and the ability to do simple calculation. Children‟s habit of studying and love for learning are of great importance to youngsters because these two things set up the sound foundation for their future studies.

Having children start formal education at a very early age benefits young children much more than simply letting them play most of their time. A good habits needs a long time to develop to become a second nature. More importantly, it is better to develop a good habit before a bad one may grow. Similarly, the love for learning should take toots for before the love for playing is established.

Respecting Local Characteristics

Recently a heated debate was triggered off by the report that a little-known mountainous area near Guiyang, Guizhou Province plans to turn itself into a central business district with unconventional, super-futuristic buildings, never paying appropriate attention to its local characteristics. Some people appreciate the bold innovation of the design, whereas others hold that the design should suit its local conditions and reflect its regional characteristics or cultural heritage. As far as I am concerned, I prefer the latter.

Firstly, any urban design should take the city’s original cultural heritage into account. Functional and harmonious architectures are needed to suit the life of the people there. In a mountainous area, unconventional and super-futuristic buildings are incompatible with its landscapes and they usually prove to be unsuited to the climate. Besides, the disappearance of its original features may mean the disappearance of a period of history and even the disappearance of its symbol and identity.

Secondly, the form of traditional buildings anywhere in the world is influenced by local climate and geology. Therefore, the design well suited to local conditions can save a lot of money. As a small developing mountainous area near Guiyang, it should try to take good advantage of its local resources. Over the centuries, the local materials have become the raw material used by sophisticated and expert craftsmen. If it falsely understood “progress”, wanted to be “modern” at any price, despised the outstanding features of its traditional culture and attempted to introduce reinforced concrete buildings, it would impose great pressure on its people. In addition, such buildings require expensive maintenance which is a heavy burden for its people.

Thirdly, it will take a long period of time before local people can truly be accustomed to and appreciate the unconventional, super-futuristic buildings. Lived in the traditional buildings for generations, local citizens are very likely to feel uncomfortable and uneasy surrounded by such super-futuristic buildings, let alone to appreciate them.

To sum up, a good design should take the city’s original cultural heritage into account and suit to local conditions. It should also try to take advantage of local resources and avoid imposing unnecessary burden on the local people. Besides, it is sensible to build what local people can accept and feel comfortable with.

Are Dialects Just as Acceptable in Public Places?

In the first part of your essay you should state clearly your main argument, and in the second part you should support your argument with appropriate details. In the last part you should bring what you have written to a natural conclusion or make a summary.

Marks will be awarded for content, organization, grammar and appropriateness. Failure to follow the above instructions may result in a loss of marks.

It is known to all that Mandarin, or putonghua, is the standard language in China’s service sector. However, recently quite a few employees at metropolis subway stations start using dialects to better serve people from different areas of China. As a result, the opinion on this practice varies from person to person. Some people regard it as a useful supplement of the current service, while others see the countering effects of such movement to the national policy of promoting mandarin across China. From my point of view, I believe dialects are acceptable in public places. Although Mandarin, or putonghua is promoted widely and vigorously in accordance with the national policy, dialects are still acceptable in public places.{专八作文范文}.

First of all, dialects are a kind of culture instead of merely a tool for communication. They represent their respective and distinct cultures. If dialects are totally banned from our daily use or even eliminated from our lives, the cultures will be incomplete or even gradually disappear.

Secondly, dialects can enrich the content of Mandarin, or putonghua so as to promote its long-term and healthy development. The dialect in Northeast China brings a lot of fun and happiness to the majority of the Chinese in recent years through television and Internet. Such a cultural phenomenon demonstrates the audience’s attitude towards local dialects which are capable of catering to the taste of the majority of the Chinese people.

Thirdly, dialects are also the only way of communication for those undereducated local people. If local dialects are forbidden in the public places, they cannot communicate smoothly. Last but not least, dialects are capable of bringing people together. It is often the case that people feel close to and tend to trust those who speak the same dialects with them, which will surely promote the harmony of the society.

Therefore, I can naturally and safely come to the conclusion that local dialects should be tolerated and accepted in public places for their unique role in the society which Mandarin, or

Putonghua cannot replace. We should guarantee their existence because they stand for our cultures. From a long-term perspective, dialects should not and would not be prohibited. There is no need for any purposeful and deliberate attempt to protect dialects. The best way to protect dialects is to use them in daily life and pass them down from generation to generation.

What I have learned from my years at university?

Before I went to university, it seemed to be such a holy place. As for me, it meant glory, respect, freedom, knowledge and a promising future. However, it was not until I entered the university that I realized it was not the whole story. I have learned much from my four years at university, such as hard work, self-control, friendship and teamwork.

University is a highly competitive place. If you don't want to lag behind other students, you have to study very hard. Besides, the pressure of hunting for a desirable job after graduation also forces you to grasp every minute to equip yourself with as much knowledge as possible. Self-control is another thing that I have learned in university. Here, the absence of parents' control and the loose control of the school give me more freedom. In addition, university is vulnerable易受攻击的 to social influences. So I have to learn how to control myself. I try to arrange my life properly, which, on the other hand, prevents me from indulging in seeking pleasure, and on the other hand, enables me to enjoy university life.

University life makes me have a deeper understanding of friendship. Friendship has become an important part of my life that I can not live without. Far away from my parents, my friends have become my dearest family members. When I feel lonely, they always sit beside me, let me pour out my secrets to them, and softly comfort me. When I am in trouble and feel helpless, it is my friends who reach out their hands and help me out.

Last but not least, university teaches me the importance of teamwork. There are lots of activities in university that you can not accomplish on your own, but have to rely on your cooperation with other people. Cooperation, in turn, relies on effective communication. Effective communication builds on mutual understanding. Thus, I have to try my best to let my cooperators understand me, just as I do my best to understand them.

In a few months' time, I am going to graduate from university. Looking back into the past four years, I must say that my university life is a worthwhile experience. What I have learned here has made a good preparation for my future life. If I were given another chance, I would like to relive it.

Time flies, do you believe that I have been a junior in so short time that I think I am just a freshman. What more serious thing is that I did not realize this term has passed half already when

I thought I did not do anything benefit to myself, especially to my studying. During the more than two years’ university life, I have really realized the stress from the studying and the social, though the life seems still very ordinary and leisure. However, I have learned many valuable principles and life experience from my years at university, which will be very useful in my lifetime, especially will be good to my work in the society.

First of all, after studying in the university these years, I really want to say that our senior middle schools’ teachers treated us. The studying in university is not so comfortable just as they said which also needs us to study hard to really improve our abilities. Only in the university, I really know what is individual study and how important of lifetime studying. Even if we leave the school to the society, we also need to study and it is very benefit to our improvement.

Besides, the most impressed thing to me is that we need to save and value time. Just as the old saying: Time is money. In the fast rhythm life nowadays, time is more important. We must learn to increase of the efficiency, especially in our careers in the future.

What’s more, these years in the university I deeply realized that the importance of the teamwork. As a monitor, I really think that a good team will gain more than what it need and use less time. So how to establish a good team is especially important to us which are very benefit to our future work. However the university is a good place to learn it.

University is the epitome of our society; we need to work hard in it to prepare well for entering the society.

What I have learned from my years at university

What have I learned from my years at university? Frankly speaking, I seem to remain untouched or intact. Standing by the window lost in thought for a long time, I realize that nothing in the world remains unchanged: the course of life never runs smooth, for there are so many ups and downs, twists and turns.

Firstly, self-esteem equips me for life's challenges. It is as essential as the air we breathe. It makes me feel worthy and confident about who I am and believe in my intrinsic value. Hence, I’m able to face the reality and be adult in my responses to life’s challenges. Secondly, courage and acceptance lead me to the road of success. A man without failures, in some sense, is a poor man. Of course I will fall into a “well” or something else. Life is going to shovel dirt on me, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to accept the situation, stop wailing and be courageous enough to shake the dirt off and take a step up. Actually each one of my troubles is a stepping stone. Only with courage and acceptance can I get out of the deepest wells. Thirdly, my distinctive individuality or something special of mine make me stand out. I may have my peculiar insight into an issue and not be controlled by anyone else. I may have my style in terms of study
