Seeing is not believing

Ladies and gentlemen, When I look at the title, seeing is not believing, I find it interesting and set me thinking a lot. Now,I couldn’t help sharing my personal experience with you.

When I was still a little child,I believed that the earth is flat and the sky like a doom-shaped pot covering the earth because I was raised up in a vast plain. I used to playing with my friends around the straight and wide filed but we could never see the end.Therefore,I thought deeply that earth is flat. I didn’t changed my idea until I learned some relevant geographical knowledge

Later,I became a junior high school student and I liked watching the movie,especially those about the Eighth Route Army fighting against the Japanese invaders. I was so impressed that Chinese soldiers could kill so many Japanese and I wandered how many people would sacrifice in such a movie. Moreover,what surprised me is that the already died hero could be brought back to life in another new movie. I was always confused till I got to know what movie’s special technology is.

I was so indulged in what see for a long time. I still remembered it was a very hot afternoon that I was waiting for the bus at a station.A young man who seemed so misery and unlucky began chatting with me.He said that he was short of money and desired to go home,so he wanted to sell his mobile phone in a very low price. The phone looked so brilliant that I decided to give him all my money. However,I found that I had been cheated because that phone is fake and couldn’t even work. I was so regretful that my eyes deceived me again.

Now,as a college student,I believe that I will never be cheated by my eyes.However,it was not long before I got a sensational news from TV. It is reported that a pregnant woman was giving birth to a baby in a local hospital in Xiangtan Hunan province,but when the operating room’s doors finally opened,there was no doctor or nurse but leaving the dead body of the woman. At this time,her relatives were all shocked and sorrowful.My first reaction is to criticize that the hospital is irresponsible to the patient and to give sympathy to the innocent family. Most net citizens also condemned the doctor’s negligence. However,after doing full investigation ,authority found the major mistake is due to the woman’s relatives rather than hospital. It is the wrong decision made by her husband that deprived of her life. I chose to believe the media news but I was still wrong.

Seeing is not believing.What we see may be a special design .Life is complicated. We should not make judgment only based on what we see. “Look before you leap” is always the rational way to deal with things. If everybody could hold this principle in his mind, Romeo would not need to kill himself rashly and could enjoy the blessed life with Juliet, Othello would not have to make the same mistake and could be the respected general forever. When we try to understand this world, seeing is important,but what counts more is the knowledge,experience and positive attitude . That’s all thank you.

Young!Fortunately, I am young now. Just due to it, I know that nothing is impossible.I firmly believe that nothing can stand in my way. If

I can't realize my dream,it result from that I haven't work harder enough and I won't find other excuses. If no people believe you, you can make it to prove that you are right. If you think the god haven't blessed you and there is no truth here, you can become the god and create the truth.

"My breath swallows the sky and make the yellow river overflow, my sword is famous in Kyushu and it can collapse the five sacred mountains." At some time in the past I also had am bitious words and I had some achievements. Each achievement results from my hard work. I always believe that "If you want to have more achievements than others, you must work harder."

In some extent, the dream is the hope. If you can insist on doing something, the victory will come.

Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friends, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today. Let's--- move ----out! Thank you for your listening!

Today my representation is about “My Favorite NBA Star”.If someone ask you “Who is your favorite NBA star?”, maybe you would say: Michael Jorda or James .Of course, there are many others to choose from, but for me, Kobe Bryant is the best.

Kobe was born on Augest 23rd, 1978. He comes from Philadelphia. Kobe liked to play basketball and football in his childhood. Kobe’s father JOE , was alse an NBA player . He played for many teams, such as Philadelphia 76ers and Houston rockets .While, he was not very famous as well as Kobe. When Kobe was just only 6 years old ,his family moved to Italy. During that time ,Kobe learned to speak Italian.So he can speak English and Italian very well .He can alse speak a little Spanish, but he is not good at it. In 2001,Kobe married a woman called Vanessa. Vanessa is a model.She is very beautiful and sexy. Kobe and his wife have two kids ,they are both girls. They live in a large and beutiful house. It must be very comfortable and expensive. If I had one like that, it will be satisfactory and wonderful.

Now let’s talk about Kobe’s career. Kobe went to NBA in 1996.At that time,a team called the Hornets bought him and they sold him to Los Angeles lakers. Kobe is full of skills. Kobe has been awarded many medals and honors. He got the MVP of NBA in 2008. He acquired the final MVP twice and the All Stars MVP four times .He was also awarded the O’Brien Cup five times. He also got 81 scores in one game.He represented his country attending the Olympics twice and acquired the champions. He is a great basketball player . In the beginning of Kobe’s career , his wore NO.8 polo shirt and then he changed it to NO.24 . The new number means he will make effers 24 hours a day. Kobe also has some nicknames,such as“Peter Pan”and“Black Mamba”.There is no doubt that lots of people admire Kobe Bryant.

We can aslo learn some spirits from Kobe. He once said: “what I’m doing right now, I’m chosing perfection”“,Everything negative-pressure，challenges-is all an opportunity for me to rise。”It means that he never give up and do his best on everything.

That’s my favorite NBA star , Kobe Bryent, a great player.
